ZC Rubber appoints Martin Wells as European MD

ZC Rubber has named Martin Wells as the company’s new European managing director and president of ZC Technical Center and Global OE. Meanwhile, Jörn Tietjens has been appointed as senior key account manager/senior automotive engineer of the European ZC Technical Center.

Based in Hanover, Germany, Wells will oversee all work at ZC Technical Center, including the global OE business development for international OEMs and account management on a global basis. Wells has over 20 years of experience in the automotive and tyre industry, including OE leadership roles with Giti and Hankook.

Martin Wells joined ZC Technical Center in Hanover in 2021 when it was initially established. Since then, “He…has played a significant role in international OEM business development”, resulting in “different nominations from international OEMs, especially for the EU Market”, the company reports.

“I am honoured to work with our European team to further drive innovation and success for ZC Rubber and our OEM customers around the globe”, commented Martin Wells.

In his new role, Jörn Tietjens will be responsible for all international OEM account management and specifically “developing, testing, and marketing new products to key OE accounts, in addition to coordinating commercial and technical support to meet all customer-related targets”.
