Nexen tyres get Hyundai Ioniq 6 original equipment deals

The new Hyundai Ioniq 6 will roll off factory lines on Nexen Tire’s all-season N’fera AU7 EV and the N’fera Sport EV. The latest electric car from Hyndai boasts a range potential of more than 500km per charge. It contains a range of lighting technologies that communicate with vehicles and people, including dual-colour ambient mood lamps, flexible and comfortable indoor spaces, and interactive pixel lights. It uses a 400V/800V multi-fast charging system and V2L functionality in addition to offering dynamic driving performance, cutting-edge safety and convenience specifications.

The Nexen N’fera AU7 EV is a premium all-season tyre that provides good braking and comfort characteristics in various climate and road conditions. The tyre contains Nexen’s optimised compound for fuel economy and wear performance, with noise reduced thanks to a block pattern tuned using AI.

The N’fera Sport EV offers good performance on both wet and dry roads while securing the best drainage space. It also improves braking performance on wet roads by increasing rigidity. Nexen has applied block deformation prevention technology to the tyre’s lateral grooves to achieve this. Nexen adds that high-speed driving stability and handling performance have been enhanced through pattern design optimisation, and grip and braking power have been increased by using grip-specific compound.

Both products have been developed to distribute the stiffness ratio of each block of the pattern as evenly as possible and to maximize the area of contact with the road surface in order to prevent wheel slip that may be caused by the high load and torque of the electric vehicle. To significantly reduce resonance sounds made while driving, the tyres’ interior is lined with ring-type sound absorption materials.
