ZC Rubber Europe appoints Barcsik deputy GM
Ákos Barcsik is the new deputy general manager of ZC Rubber Europe. In this role, he will oversee ZC Rubber’s overall sales in Europe as well as the development of TBR products for the European market.
Since joining ZC Rubber in 2017, Barcsik has served as field engineer manager and later as sales director of ZC Rubber Europe. The tyre maker states that he “greatly contributed” to developing and improving Westlake generation II truck tyres, and since his appointment as European sales director in 2021, ZC Rubber Europe says it has seen a “significant increase in sales performance.”
With Barcsik in the lead, ZC Rubber Europe has “significantly grown” its sales network and secured original equipment fitments with prominent commercial vehicle OEMs, including Schmitz Cargobull, Kögel Trailer, and Krone Trailer.
“Ákos has proven to be a valuable asset to our European team thanks to his diverse expertise and depth of industry experience,” states ZC Rubber. “We are confident that we will have more success in the European market as Ákos takes on the role of directing the company’s presence in this region.”
Prior to joining ZC Rubber, Barcsik served as national field engineer manager at Bridgestone East Europe for nine years.
