PCL pumped up about Automechanika Frankfurt
After a four-year absence thanks to Covid-related restrictions, PCL is gearing up for a return to Automechanika Frankfurt and its team preparing to welcome customers between 13 and 17 September in Hall 8, Stand H52. The company promises to bring an “innovative package of new products” for visitors to explore.
Highlights from PCL’s range of fixed tyre inflation equipment will include the menu-driven Accura D10, Accura Qube and the D93 Air and Water Tower and AutoAir II Air Tower.
Accura inflators
PCL comments that its Accura D10 tyre inflators are a popular sight on global forecourts. “Offering reliability, repeated accuracy and reduced maintenance and lifetime costs, these electronic pre-set units provide end users with increased safety and fuel economy and extended tyre life,” PCL says.
The Accura Qube electronic pre-set unit is said to offer superb value and fast, accurate air and nitrogen inflation, saving time and money through increased efficiency, uptime, and safety; whilst reducing fatigue associated with inflating large, high-pressure tyres from flat. PCL considers this space-saving indoor inflator, which is made from high performance engineering plastic and can inflate up to 174 psi (12 bar), ideal for garages, dealerships, car hire companies, roadside assistance vehicles, MOT centres and factories; where inflation and deflation with repeatable accuracy and ease of use are essential.
D93 Air and Water Tower
The UK-manufactured D93 Air and Water Tower is designed to withstand harsh environments, with the stainless steel or painted galvanized steel casing offering a long life. Featuring a large, easy-to-read 30mm LCD backlit screen as standard, the D93 is built for ease of use to drive repeat business and increase revenue. This forecourt solution includes a range of payment methods – cashless, coin and token – to suit local markets.
AutoAir II Air Tower
The AutoAir II Air Tower is an alternative option to the D93, it is ideal for forecourts and other retail locations, such as carparks, shopping centres, offices and fast-food outlets, that would like offer free air top-ups to their customers to increase retention.
PCL’s range of digital, linear and dial handheld inflators are designed for a wide range of applications, from car and truck tyres used in tyre shops and workshops, to high pressure models for commercial vehicles, aviation and forecourt service stations.
Little brother for Airforce Mk4
For Automechanika, the spotlight will be on the linear range following the launch of the new economy airlite eco Tyre Inflator, designed for comfort and ease of use. “Robust, reliable, and accurate to 2psi, the MK4’s ‘little brother’ is a must-have, cost-effective addition to the general trade or auto enthusiast’s tool kit,” says PCL. The market-leading Airforce MK4 will also be on display.
From PCL’s nitrogen range, the ‘Made in Sheffield’ N72 Mobile Nitrogen Cart will be on display. Using PCL’s best-in-class ‘purge and fill’ software, it can convert 4 air filled tyres to 95%+ Nitrogen simultaneously with the touch of a button, and is powered by a rechargeable battery.
Last but not least, PCL also offers a wide variety of air tools, air treatment, tyre pressure gauges, and hose products.
Carefully selected portfolio
“It will be fantastic to see Automechanika back to its usual format, and the team is really looking forward to meeting existing and potential customers face to face there,” says Lee Wright, PCL’s sales and marketing director. “PCL is proud to boast one of the best design facilities in the world, which enables us to create designs to meet specific requirements.
“Automechanika is the perfect platform to introduce international visitors to solutions that will help them on the road to recovery and business as usual,” Wright continues. “We are bringing a carefully selected portfolio of products to Messe Frankfurt which we feel will facilitate customers to flourish post-pandemic. Please come and see how we can help in Hall 8, Stand H52.”
