Van tyre performance from Zeta
SD-International’s private Zeta brand offers a comprehensive range of van tyres in the UK and European tyre market sectors. Its four patterns targeting the segment are the ZTR18, ZTR08, Active Power 4S and Antartica 8.
The Zeta ZTR18 tyre offers a non-directional “twists and turn” groove pattern to promote grip on all road surfaces, including stony, muddy and off-road conditions, as well as reduced fuel consumption, increased mileage, and wet grip. It is currently available in 13 sizes from 185/75R16C to 235/65R16C.
The Zeta ZTR08 includes a compact shoulder design to further improve stability. Its optimised sipes in the mid-tread area provide extra grip capability and braking performance. The tyre’s tread compound reduces fuel consumption and increases mileage return. The ZTR08 is available in three 14-15” sizes.
Zeta offers all-season van performance in the Active Power 4S. Its non-directional tread pattern with optimised sipes promotes wet grip and increases control on snow. Its large shoulder blocks increase stiffness for better handling and braking performance in all weather conditions. The tyre’s premium silica compound also offers lower wear and rolling resistance. The Active Power 4S is currently available in six size options from 195/70R15 up to 235/65R16.
Finally the Zeta Antartica 8 winter van tyre incorporates three wide longitudinal grooves to disperse water from the tread for better wet performance, while an extensive arrangement of blocks on the shoulders remove snow and slush from the tread to maintain maximum contact with the road in winter conditions. The Antartica 8 is currently available in seven sizes from 195/70R15 to 235/65R16.
Frank Xu, SD-International’s purchasing director says, “Through our extensive range of tyres for most market sectors we are able to confidently supply the UK and Europe with a flexible and competitively priced selection of quality van and light commercial tyres. For the future we intend to introduce more Zeta van sizes in the 60 and 55 sectors.”
