Foucart to head Mobivia’s workshop & dealer businesses; new CEO at ATU
After four years as chief executive officer of German tyre and car service network ATU, Matthieu Foucart is returning to parent company Mobivia in France. There he will assume overall responsibility for the group’s workshop and specialist dealer business, which includes the Norauto, Midas, Auto 5 and ATU brands. His successor heading the four-person ATU management team is Sascha Bopp, who will take over as chief executive officer on 1 October 2022.
Foucart joined Norauto, which became Mobivia in 2010, some 26 years ago and has held numerous roles within the company. Coming to ATU from Norauto France, where he was general director, Foucart is credited with have “vigorously driven” the German operation’s transformation into a “solution provider for individual mobility.” Amongst other achievements, Foucart strengthened ATU’s integration into the Mobivia Group, consolidated logistics and completely restructured the business’s sales organisation.

Together with the teams in the branches and in Weiden (head office), we were able to master the challenges of the pandemic and make ATU fit for the future. Sascha Bopp, who joins ATU from German fashion retailer Orsay, intends to further accelerate the company’s digital transformation. In addition to his retail experience, Bopp also brings extensive knowledge in the areas of IT and digitalisation.
