Falken looks to efficiency, e-mobility at Autopromotec 2022
Falken exhibited at Autopromotec 2022 from a major 194 square metre stand in Hall 20. The Sumitomo Rubber Industries brand showed several highlights from its wide range of products for passenger cars, SUVs, light trucks and truck tyres. Highlights include the new winter tyres from Falken: the Eurowinter HS02 and the Eurowinter HS02 Pro, both of which have the Advanced 4D Nano Design technology and convince with their conservation of resources and innovative technological attributes.
Of the summer models, the Azenis FK520 stands out. The latest iteration of the award-winning UHP tyre line introduced in 2016 combines grip, reliability, performance and efficiency. Falken says the tyre brings together its know-how in the areas of material development and simulation technology, which have been ramped up in recent years. The result, it says, is that the FK520 is “an exceptionally efficient premium product.”
Fabrizio Manfredi, sales manager for Italy and Malta at Falken, said Autopromotec “is the ideal showcase for presenting our products, explaining the latest technologies in detail and promoting the Falken Zone partner programme, which was introduced last year. And it is also a great opportunity for meeting our partners and customers in person after such a long break.”
An additional highlight on show was a model of Falken’s first tyre developed especially for electric vehicles, the Falken e.Ziex, which is to be launched as the first spare tyre for the vehicle segment in Europe for the summer season of 2023. Falken says the e.Ziex “is set to be one of the best tyres in terms of energy efficiency that the Sumitomo Group has ever developed and manufactured.”
