Davanti launches Italian subsidiary at Autopromotec 2022
Davanti Tyres launched its recent entrance into the Italian market directly via its new subsidiary, Davanti Tyres SRL, at Autopromotec 2022. The wholly owned subsidiary of Davanti Tyres UK has been established with a dedicated team and logistical operation in Italy. The company wants its new subsidiary to build a network of tyre retailers across Italy.
As part of the subsidiary, the brand’s exclusive Davanti Partner Point (DPP) benefit programme is available to dealers. Retailers that are part of this programme will have access to marketing support, as well as a comprehensive package of benefits that will enhance business development and deliveries in as little as 24 hours to mainland destinations. Peter Cross, general manager of Davanti Tyres SRL, said: “The main objective is to serve a network of exclusive partners with wide access to the entire Davanti range and to offer complete market support throughout Italy.”
The latest expansion builds on the brand’s global presence. Since the launch of the brand in the UK, the company has added offices in the United Arab Emirates, Shanghai, Croatia and the Netherlands.
Aldo Ercole, head of sales for the Italian market, commented on how retailers have responded to the Davanti Partner Point programme so far. “Many customers are welcoming the programme and showing great enthusiasm towards it. We are in positive talks with several retailers at the moment, and conversations are happening as a result of the brand new, dedicated Instagram and Facebook pages that went live last month.
“We look forward to continuing to build on our established dealer network over the next few months and beyond.”
Davanti also took the opportunity to showcase its product range, including its original DX range, the brand’s flagship ultra-high performance tyre Protoura Sport, its all-season van tyre Vantoura 4-Seasons, its dedicated winter range Wintoura, and the established all-terrain tyre Terratoura A/T.
