Continental Tyres gets football ambassador support on ‘Grip the Nation’ tour
Continental Tyres has activated its long-running association with international football on its Grip the Nation roadshow. ITV Sport host Laura Woods and ex-England Lioness turned broadcaster Karen Carney MBE have joined the tyre brand as the England Women’s Senior Football Team prepares for its home European Championship tournament this summer. Conti is an official partner of the England Lionesses, and has been touring the UK with its Grip The Nation roadshow. The tyre manufacturer has handed out more than 13,000 free fan packs to help clubs and fans prepare for the tournament.

Grip the Nation attendees put their football skills to the test for the chance to win branded footballs and exclusive merchandise, in a series of tyre-inspired challenges, including shots on target and fast-feet.
Continental’s new brand ambassadors, broadcasters Karen Carney MBE and Laura Woods, are creating exclusive content for Continental’s website and social channels, including putting the multi award-winning, ultra-high-performance Continental SportContact 7 tyre through its paces on the UK’s largest skidpan, at Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey.
Sports broadcasting legend Woods was also joined by ex-Lionesses in an exclusive insider preview to the Lionesses’ upcoming matches.
Robb added: “It’s fantastic to have Laura and Karen endorse what we are doing. As the nation is gripped by the Lionesses this summer, we’ll be helping the team get to every match, safely and in style.
