Yokohama renews online motorsports presence
Yokohama Rubber has refreshed its dedicated motorsports website. Both the English and Japanese language versions of the Yokohama Motorsports sites have been given the treatment and now feature full-screen designs. Yokohama says this format “enhances user convenience.”
Site content represents Yokohama Motorsports’ global focus and features championships that Yokohama Rubber supports around the world. In addition to existing sections dedicated to the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race and Nürburgring Endurance Series, the Japanese Super Formula Championship, and Super GT races, the renewed site is now home to a page dedicated to the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, the most challenging hill climb competition in the United States. Yokohama has also added pages for off-road races and drift competitions that it supplies tyres to.
Smartphone and tablet users benefit from the shift to a fullscreen format. Furthermore, Yokohama says the renewed site “delivers powerful visuals that enables viewers to feel like they are at the race.” Video content has been given a boost, too.
In addition to race information, the Yokohama Motorsports site will introduce a wide range of the company’s activities in this area, including updates about Yokohama Rubber’s development of racing tyres that utilise sustainable materials.
