Grupo Alves Bandeira aims to take Matrax up a gear after Tire Cologne
Grupo Alves Bandeira representatives report that they were “impressed by the support and positive atmosphere at the recent Tire Cologne Show in Germany after three long years of cancellations due to Covid.” Now, the company is aiming to take the marketing of its Matrax range of car and SUV tyres up a gear following Tire Cologne and other trade show investments.
Specifically, Grupo Alves Bandeira “relished” the opportunity to “establish face-to-face contact once more with many of their existing customer base” plus a number of new contacts at Tire Cologne. Those contacts were described as “potentially lucrative businesses in the international tyre market sector.”
As André Bandeira, managing director of Grupo Alves Bandeira explained, “Our main aim at this show is to further promote our progressively growing Private Brand – MatraX throughout the European market sector and attract new partners.” The company is currently trading in 25 countries internationally, but the ultimate objective is to take the brand worldwide in due course.
Having been originally formed as a fuel business in the 1960’s, over the past 60 years, Grupo Alves Bandeira has evolved into and professional tyre sales operation with an annual turnover of 600 million euros in 2021.
Bandeira concluded: “We firmly believe the secret of our continued success has been built around our dedication in supporting our international customers and their businesses as much as possible backed by the company’s experienced and skilled sales teams in different markets around the world.”
