New Kraiburg K738 the “perfect solution for mixed applications”

Kraiburg Austria is expanding its portfolio for construction site applications with the K738, a tread it says is equally at home on the road. With the K738, Kraiburg Austria has found the “optimal solution” for two tasks. The retreading materials specialist says the tread is “designed for the toughest off-road applications” and its durability, traction and resilience “convinces on rough, unsurfaced terrain.” At the same time, it offers “smooth, quiet running characteristics on sealed roads, including high mileage.”

The secret to these dual benefits are large, newly-developed tread lugs that are designed to resist tears and cracks while increasing tread durability. The K738 tread is marked with both the M+S and 3PMSF symbols to denote its suitability for year-round use. “With the K738, we have succeeded in creating a small revolution,” summarises Christoph Priewasser, product manager at Kraiburg Austria. The new design will be available in 250 and 260 millimetre widths from September.
