New CEO at Hankook Networks
Hankook Networks is the IT and logistics engineering arm of Hankook & Company and is tasked with enhancing the group’s competitiveness by utilising and applying its latest IT and digital technologies to other affiliate companies, including Hankook Tire & Technology. As of 2 May 2022, the business is being led by a new chief executive officer, Youngmin Cho.
According to Hankook & Company, Cho’s appointment as chief executive officer was carried out as part of Hankook Networks’ initiative in expanding global businesses, driving digital and IT innovation, and embodying new growth strategies to achieve breakthrough business results in the midst of rapidly changing environment.
Cho joins Hankook Networks from food company CJ CheilJedang, where he was managing director of the company’s Digital Innovation Division. “With the extensive career Cho has built as an IT and digital industry specialist, he is expected to offer high-quality IT service and a solution on logistics engineering that can leverage Hankook Networks as a global trusted partner for developing and supplying an innovative digital solution,” writes Hankook.
