MatraX presents new tyre range
MatraX Tyres is a new name in the tyre market and the company behind it, Alves Bandeira Tyres, S.A., says the brand is the result of its vision to “build the best tyres, exceed the expectations of our customers and consumers, by being world leader in tyre engineering, sustainable manufacturing, and distribution.” Lofty goals indeed, and the world needn’t wait long to see the first fruits of these efforts. Following their debut at April’s Motortec aftermarket exhibition in Madrid, the inaugural MatraX tyre models will launch Europe-wide at The Tire Cologne next week.
Visitors to the tyre industry trade fair will encounter four MatraX products developed for the European market – Urcola, Morucha, Coloma and Veragua. With this range, MatraX aims to become the “go-to tyre brand for many drivers in Europe and other countries around the globe.” Alves Bandeira Tyres “prides itself on its innovative technologies, safety standards and rigid quality control that goes in line with producing each tyre.” As a result, the MatraX product range “is set out to suit every specific need.”
Urcola is an ultra-performance summer car tyre that “brings comfort and performance on both wet and dry road surfaces.” MatraX Tyres says the rigid casing structure employed in Urcola “makes it perfect for cornering at higher speeds” while a wide contact area “ensures precision and traction.”
Morucha is a high-performance tyre aimed at luxury and performance saloons. “The Morucha is characterised by tyre blocks which are enclosed, and a tread that reduces the contact noise, ensuring a comfortable ride. It is performing great on all surfaces, and has undergone extreme testing on slippery roads, producing amazing results,” says André Bandeira, company founder and chief executive officer of Alves Bandeira International and MatraX tyres.
Coloma is the MatraX range for smaller models and compact city cars. MatraX reports that this tyre has “impressive noise cancelling features” and a “smoother tread” that absorbs bumps in the road.
Veragua is, says MatraX Tyres, a product “perfect for adventures and exploration.” It is aimed at mid-size and large SUVs and crossovers, as well as 4WDs and light trucks. MatraX says it has tested this all-season tyre on rugged terrain to demonstrate its durability.
Exceed driver expectations
The Alves Bandeira Group says it has a clear vision of dominance with the automotive parts market. In addition to tyres, the MatraX offer includes lubricants and batteries. The company is one of the leading exporters of automotive parts, with 50 years of experience in expanding its supply chains into new markets.
