Dunlop tyres OE on Husqvarna
Husqvarna has selected Dunlop to supply original equipment tyres for its latest motocross range. It has chosen Dunlop Geomax MX33 for its performance over soft terrain, control and shock absorption.
Building on its existing motocross range, Husqvarna will introduce a range of upgrades for its 2023 models, each in aid of delivering better performance and handling to make riders more confident and competitive.
Geomax MX33 is designed to handle a wide range of terrain and conditions. Its casing stiffness and compound yield performance and stability in a single, reliable package. Thanks to patented technologies such as Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT), which increases block flexibility to achieve greater slide control, or Advanced Apex Design (AAD), which allows the sidewall to maintain a consistent rigidity, riders enjoy an edge in confidence and speed in variable conditions.
In 2022, every AMA Supercross Championship race win was taken by a Dunlop rider, building on the race-winning success of Geomax MX33 in the FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP). In MXGP, Standing Construct Husqvarna Factory Racing Team riders Pauls Jonass and Brian Bogers choose Dunlop Geomax tyres.
“We are delighted that Husqvarna has chosen the MX33 range for its bikes,” says Miguel Morais, original equipment manager, Dunlop Motorcycle EMEA. “Tyres play a huge role in extracting the most from a motocross bike. Dunlop shares Husqvarna’s competitive DNA, making the products a great match. Our goal is focused on helping manufacturers to see a machine that is ready to win races at all levels of competition.”
Geomax MX33 will be fitted as standard across the TC and FC ranges, with engine sizes 125, 250, 350 and 450cc.
