B&J Rocket appoints Karam key account manager; Wolf joins Kraiburg Austria
Marcos Guzman, president of B&J Rocket, reports that the retreading equipment specialist has appointed Humberto Karam its key account manager in Europe. Karam succeeds Christian Wolf, who has taken on the role of product manager at Kraiburg Austria.
Humberto Karam is an 18-year veteran of the tyre industry, having served in top sales and management positions with several leading companies. He left the tyre industry in 2014 to work in a sales capacity in the food industry in Germany. With his joining the B&J Rocket team in Switzerland, Karam returns to the industry and will initially will be responsible for multiple European markets. Customers will have the opportunity to meet him at the Autopromotec Show in Bologna, Italy from 25 to 28 May.
“Humberto is a highly qualified and experienced leader, and his business acumen and experience in the tyre industry will be a major asset to B&J Rocket,” says Guzman. “We are fortunate to have him on our team.”
Wolf moves to Kraiburg Austria
Christian Wolf joined Kraiburg Austria at the start of May. The master-level qualified vulcaniser brings many years of retreading industry experience with him into the role of product manager. In this remit, Wolf is responsible for the tyre applications area of the business. His remit is to prepare findings about products in use in direct customer contact and to make a decisive contribution to strategic market intelligence. The information he gains will be incorporated into the further development of the Kraiburg product portfolio.
“Much has happened at Kraiburg in recent years, especially in the field of tyre applications. The tasks have become increasingly extensive and complex,” says Roland Schutte, head of product management. “We are all the more pleased that with Christian Wolf we are gaining industry-experienced reinforcement who complements the proven team around Christoph Priewasser.”
