Goodyear tyres OE on BMW iX

The BMW iX will be available with Goodyear tyres as original equipment. Goodyear is supplying two EfficientGrip Performance 2 dimensions for factory fitment on the new electric SAV.

Goodyear says its EfficientGrip Performance 2 offers drivers short braking distances on dry and wet roads, along with good handling and grip in varied conditions. The tyre is also designed to maximise range, with Goodyear claiming 20 per cent higher mileage than the next best tested competitor as well as 50 per cent more than the prior-generation EfficientGrip Performance.

iX models will leave the factory wearing the EfficientGrip Performance 2 in sizes 235/60R20 108H and 255/50R21 109Y. BMW has also approved the Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ winter tyre as original equipment in the two listed dimensions.
