Goodyear Total Mobility takes Drive Results on European roadshow
Goodyear will be showcasing its commercial Goodyear Total Mobility solution on a roadshow across 13 European countries in 2022. The tour follows the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship calendar as well as a number of key cities and trade events.
The year-long Drive Results tour and campaign kicked-off on 22 April in France, before heading to the United Kingdom and Italy in May for the first round of the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship at Misano. The UK leg sees the company engage with this year’s ITT Hub at Farnbourgh International 11-12 May.
Total Mobility is designed to provide “an end-to-end solution…to support fleets to lower carbon footprint, be more competitive and optimize efficiency in the daily operations”. Tools such as automated tyre pressure and tread depth monitoring via Goodyear’s CheckPoint (Drive-Over-Reader) are used to measure key aspects of tyre health.
Visitors of the Drive Results tour can expect an experience tailored to their business focus. Inside the mobile showroom, Goodyear’s latest generation of versatile and fuel-efficient tyres will be on display, enriched by an immersive augmented reality element, which will bring guests even closer to the incorporated technology. It will reinforce the key elements of the products, highlighting the importance of optimising rolling resistance for efficiency cost, and minimising a vehicle’s carbon footprint. For instance, using the all-new Fuelmax Endurance durable and low emission range will result in two per cent less CO2 emissions or 100 tonnes of CO2 emissions and 40,000 litres of fuel per year.
Piotr Czyzyk, managing director Proactive Solutions and Fleet Europe: “We are incredibly excited to showcase the advanced benefits of the Goodyear Total Mobility value proposition across Europe this year. Last year we announced our strategic collaboration with ZF, together we can further leverage our data-intelligence expertise. For transportation companies, getting straightforward access to key data of the different assets being it tyres, trucks or trailers is an important step forward in easing their digital transformation. Today’s fleets require preventive and prescriptive information together with end-to-end fleet management solutions, supporting them to take the right actions in just seconds.”
Maciej Szymanski, director marketing Europe: “Goodyear is constantly pursuing ways to increase efficiency for fleets. In an economic climate of rapidly increasing costs, our advanced solutions can help our partners to save money and make their business more efficient while maintaining a competitive edge. We are conscious that each fleet comes with unique challenges, so it is important to customize and showcase the potential savings beyond other added value such as uptime and proactive maintenance an end-to-end approach brings. Goodyear provides this with Total Mobility.”
