Ascenso Tyres UK continues supporting World Champion Clay Pigeon Shooter

The Ascenso Tyres UK team have expressed their continued support for 2021 World Champion Clay Pigeon Shooter Kallum Burrell as he prepares for the season ahead. Kallam become a double World Champion after winning as ‘High Gun’ at the 2021 Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) World Sportrap Championships, where he took both senior and junior titles.

Last October Ascenso Tyres UK announced the company’s plans to sponsor Kallum, supporting him through his winter training and into this year’s clay shooting season “and beyond”.

Tom Bush of Ascenso Tyres UK/BA Bush & Son said: “We are very proud to be able to continue to support Kallum as he makes his way in the Clay Pigeon Shooting World. Kallum has been working very hard in the build up to the season, so we are very excited to see how he gets on this year.”

So far, the season has seen the first England Team selection shoot, Kallum is currently placed 4th in the selection table for juniors (Under 21’s) for the home international which will this year be held in Jersey.

By far the biggest competition of the season for Kallum will be the World championships in San Antonio, Texas this April. For the first time, Kallum will be a part of the England junior team for this event.

Kallum is also booked into the English and British championships for this year and will also be shooting the England team selection shoots, hoping to retain his place within the team. Kallum was also recently nominated for the Emerging Shooter of the Year Award at the annual CPSA awards evening.

Kallum commented, “I am especially looking forward to our trip to San Antonio next month, it will be my first time shooting abroad and my first time as a part of the England team, as well as a chance to see new targets that are set differently to how they are here in the UK.”
