Tire Group International celebrates 30th anniversary
Tire Group International (TGI) has turned 30 years old, and as part of the year-long celebration of three decades in the business, the US-based tyre and tube supplier is commemorating the clients, team members and friends that helped the company get to where it is today.
Founded in 1992, TGI today carries over 30 different tyre brands as well as several brands of tubes and wheels to wholesalers, retailers and dealerships in over 80 countries. In recent years, TGI has leveraged its worldwide presence to become a leading supplier throughout the United States as well. With a vast, worldwide network of logistics, TGI says it is “always ready to deliver direct shipments to any destination.” TGI attributes its success to an “unyielding and uncompromising philosophy of first-class customer service, dedicated team members, top-quality products and vast experience in the international and domestic trade.”
The distributor has several house brands, and it shares that one of these – Cosmo Tires – is quickly becoming a favourite in the endurance racing, drifting and autocross scenes across the USA. “Cosmo’s flagship MuchoMacho tyre has stood up to heavy track use in a multiple of motorsports disciplines and is the go-to for amateur and professional drivers for its industry-unique combination of quality, performance and value,” shares TGI.
A true family
For those who were there from the very beginning in 1992, 30 years of success and growth is a milestone unlike any other. For brothers Joaquin and Tony Gonzalez, TGI is not only a family business, but a true family, encompassing the staff, the clients and all those who work alongside TGI. “When you work for something you believe in, it’s called passion,” states Joaquin Gonzalez Jr., president of Tire Group International. “TGI has been inspiring belief and committing to it, since its humble beginnings. Empowering our team to be the very best at everything we do.”
“I am humbled to be a part of what we have become,” says Tony Gonzalez, founder, chief executive officer and chairman of Tire Group International. “We are a true family that takes pride in everything we do; a family that never stops fighting for our clients and is only satisfied with being the best.”
As a part of the chief executive officer’s personal celebration of 30 years of success in business, Tony has acted on his lifelong passion for film and music, creating Rock the Moon, a successful music label, and Exilium, a film production company. Tony’s first movie release, Vandal, is currently streaming on all major services.
