SD International expanding Zeta car tyre range

International contract tyre producer SD International is expanding its range of private brand Zeta car and SUV tyres. The range now includes seven models, with runflat, all-season and winter options for extended mobility joining the key Alventi and Impero lines of summer tyres.

The Zeta Alventi has an asymmetrical summer pattern with outer longitudinal grooves to increase lateral grip and reduce noise. SD International adds that the pattern helps to improve lateral rigidity at high speed and increase overall handling. Currently available in 95 sizes in V, W and Y speed ratings from 195/65R15 to 275/30ZR21, SD International states that more popular sizes will join the range soon.

The Zeta Impero range offers a performance tread design for cars and SUVs. It is developed to provide consistent wear and versatile driving capabilities. The range comprises 54 size options in H, V, W and Y ratings from 215/65R16 to 285/35ZR22 with more sizes to be introduced soon. Both Zeta’s Alventi and Impero patterns include a range of 40 runflat sizes, which the brand also intends to expand over the course of 2022.

The Zeta Active 4S is a high performance all-season asymmetric pattern produced for superior ride comfort and safety in dry, wet and light snow road conditions. Multiple sipes across the tread area promote traction in challenging weather conditions and variable pitching on the shoulder provides high stability and reduced noise levels.  Its silica compound also gives increased mileage return, according to the producer. The Active 4S tyre currently has 22 sizes in H, V and W ratings between 165/70R14 and 225/45R17, with additional light commercial vehicle sizes under Active Power 4s design.

Zeta presents two winter patterns in the Antarctica Ice and Antarctica 5. The Antarctica Ice is a studdable tyre that incorporates two circumferential tracks with a central step-shaped groove for stability and precise cornering capabilities. Its tread profile is designed to reduce braking distances and a winter rubber compound improves grip, wear resistance and overall strength. The Zeta Antarctica Ice is available in 26 sizes in T and H ratings from 205/70R15 to 225/40R18, plus 24 SUV/light commercial sizes in the Antarctica Sport pattern.

The Antarctica 5 studless tyre offers a pattern and compound produced to suit for wet and cold road conditions. The tyre was developed using computer simulation to give balanced water flow, general road handling, longer tread life and a comfortable and safe driving experience. The tyre is currently available in 34 size options in T, H and V ratings from 155/80R13 through to 225/40R18.
