Nexion Group pulls out of Autopromotec 2022
Leading Italian garage equipment maker, Nexion Group, will not participate in Autopromotec 2022 because “the conditions are not yet in place to ensure a presence capable of best representing the prestige of its brands, while guaranteeing the safety of its customers and employees”.
Since Nexion Group includes well-known brands such as Corghi, Mondolfo Ferro, HPA-Faip, SICE, Teco, Tecnomotor, Orlandini, Kompunet Informatica, BRIGHT, Autopstenhoj and Sherpa, the groups announcement will be a blow to Autopromotec’s organisers. Nevertheless, Nexion representatives sought to be upbeat while further explaining the company’s decision:
“The latest developments of the pandemic give hope that in May, when the Bologna trade show takes place, the health situation will have improved. We sincerely hope that by then the pandemic will be just a bad memory, but the current context is still characterised by too many uncertainties. Therefore, at this time, Nexion has assessed it as impossible to responsibly plan and prepare for its participation in this event without exposing its employees to great risk.”
Moving forward, the focus is now on offering “existing or potential customers the same opportunities to access sales promotions and learn about new equipment and software solutions as they would have been able to see on our booth at the trade show”.
At the same time, Nexion says it is “rethinking its communication strategies, continuing with the planning of virtual events and then the production of live streaming events, as well as using new communication methods offered by Digital Marketing.”
