Cemb introduced 4 new tyre changers in 2021

Cemb launched four new car tyre changers in 2021, the SMX40, SMX50, SMX70 and SMX70 LeverLess. The garage equipment brand developed the new range to allow operators to work easily on all types of wheel. All models are automatic and equipped with a rear tilting post to ensure maximum rigidity and avoid damage to rims.

The SMX70LL has a leverless demounting group with double support to the rim to reduce flexions and tensions on the bead and on the rim edge. It reduces the physical effort needed from the operator. The flowering turnplate has an external locking capacity from 10″ to 24″ and an internal locking from 12″ to 26″. The bead breaker allows to operate on wheels with maximum width up to 17″. The model is equipped with Motoinverter system, pedal-operated inflating device, manometer and inflation pressure limiter. The reinforced horizontal arm is particularly large and robust and ensures less bending during use. The base of the vertical post base also has reinforcements for better support.

The SMX70 retains the same features as the SMX70 LL, except for the demounting system which is traditional type with lever.

The SMX50 is also equipped with a flowering turnplate to offer greater support to the jaws, external locking capacity is 10″-22″ and internal is 12″-24″. The bead breaker allows to operate on wheels with a maximum width of 15″. The model is provided with pedal-operated inflating device, manometer and CE-certified inflation pressure limiter and double speed rotation system, although the Motoinverter system is available as option.

Finally, the SMX40 has a round plate with double speed rotation (Motoinverter version available as option) with external locking capacity 10″-20″ and internal locking capacity 12″-22″. The bead breaker allows to operate on wheels with maximum width 12″. The model is equipped with a Wika inflating gun and can be configured with the optional helper arms to facilitate demounting and mounting of the wheel.

All models can be configured according to the operator’s needs thanks to the wide choice of motors, helper arms and accessories. In addition, they can be implemented with Industry 4.0 Kit that allows a complete control of the workshop activity thanks to the possibility to plan the daily activity, by inserting the number of wheels, the start time of any activity and the machine that will be used to optimise the resources and eliminate waste of time.
