All-season airport tyre: ContiRV20

Continental has launched a new all-season tyre for airport ground handling vehicles, the ContiRV20 All Season. The tyre is produced in Continental’s facility for industrial material Handling tyres in Otrokovice, Czech Republic, and is available in 16-inch and 16.5-inch sizes.

“This tyre is particularly designed for ground operation fleets within the airport environment, such as smaller tow tractors and baggage loaders,” comments Matthias-Stephan Müller, material handling product line manager at Continental Commercial Specialty Tires. “We are pleased to be able to offer the ContiRV20 All Season tyre to the market.“

ContiRV All Season is M+S marked and features a three-rib tread. “The high quantity of interlocked tread blocks increases the traction and improves the braking performance in both summer and winter conditions,” continues Müller. “Angled pocket sipes are not only used for optimum traction performance, but also provide the best possible steering capabilities.”
