Vredestein tyres for Liebherr wheel loaders

Construction equipment firm Liebherr has approved Vredestein tyres as original equipment for several of its wheel loader models. The agreement with Apollo Tyres Ltd. sees Vredestein Endurion and Flotation Trac tyres homologated for the Liebherr compact wheel loaders L 504, L 506 and L 508.

Vredestein Endurion is described by its manufacturer as a “champion on hard surfaces,” with an extra strong casing and robust tread that offer maximal radial and lateral stability, and optimal comfort. Apollo Tyres adds that the tyre’s “exceptionally long lifespan” will substantially reduce total cost of ownership. Liebherr has approved the Vredestein Endurion in sizes 340/80R18 IND 143 A8/B, 400/70R18 IND 147 A8/B and 400/70R20 IND 149 A8/B.

For Liebherr’s telescopic wheel loader L 509 Tele, Apollo Tyres is supplying the Vredestein Flotation Trac in size 560/45R22.5 IMP 160D. The tyre features non-parallel transverse lugs that provide traction even in the most difficult conditions, whilst the reinforced central section adds stability and long tyre life. Apollo Tyres adds that a robust bead construction “ensures a high degree of reliability which leads to optimum productivity.”

The first Liebherr compact wheel loaders equipped with Vredestein tyres arrived in the market at the start of this year.
