Trelleborg appoints Olsson General Counsel
From the end of the second quarter of 2022, Katarina Olsson will succeed Charlotta Grähs as General Counsel of the Trelleborg Group. Grähs is stepping down from her position at Trelleborg to take a similar role at another company.
Like her predecessor, Olsson will be a member of the Group Management and act as secretary to Trelleborg’s Board. Born in 1971, Katarina Olsson joins Trelleborg from a position as General Counsel for Beijer Ref, a world-leading global wholesaler of cooling technology and air conditioning. Previously she served in positions as corporate counsel at ICA and Ericsson. Katarina holds a Master of Law (LLM) from Lund University, Sweden, and has also studied at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, England.
“We are pleased to welcome Katarina to the Trelleborg Group. Katarina has an excellent background that will allow her to lead the continuing legal work for the Group’s strategically prioritised areas, such as M&A, risk management and regulatory compliance,” says Peter Nilsson, president and chief executive officer of Trelleborg Group.
“I come to Trelleborg with knowledge and experience gained from working at global and also entrepreneur-driven companies. I very much look forward to taking up my position at Trelleborg and participate in the continued development of the Group,” says Katarina Olsson.
