Michelin’s Vincentelli appointed CEO of Allopneus
Following its 100 per cent acquisition by the Michelin Group, French online tyre firm Allopneus has a new chief executive officer. Michel Vincentelli succeeds Mathieu Blaise, who launched the Allopneus site in 2004 together with father Didier and brother Antoine.
Vincentelli will be responsible for pursuing Allopneus’ development strategy, with the ambition of continuing to improve the customer experience, from online information searches to tyre fitting. He comes to Allopneus from the Michelin Group, where he’s worked since 1997. Prior to taking on his current role, Vincentelli served as executive vice-president of global sales for Michelin’s automotive original equipment business line, a position held since January 2018. Before that, he spent six years as vice-president of OE truck sales Europe.
