Cooper introduces Evolution Van All Season

Cooper Tire Europe has launched a new product for van drivers. Called the Cooper Evolution Van All Season, the tyre is approved for year-round usage in countries with seasonal tyre regulations and bears the 3PMSF snowflake within a three-peaked mountain logo on the sidewall as evidence of this.

The tyre’s tread pattern “generates consistent grip and predictable cornering” while producing an even footprint, reports Cooper. It adds that the tread voids are optimised for strong wet and snow performance and are supported by high sipe and block edge lengths and zigzag grooves.

“With the Cooper Evolution Van All Season, we can give van drivers year-round performance in one set of tyres,” comments Gavin Edwards, general manager of Cooper Tire Europe’s European Technical Centre. “We look forward to seeing the tyre out on the road, alongside our existing summer and winter van products.”

Cooper is initially offering the Evolution Van All Season in five sizes for 15- and 16-inch rims. This launch range includes 215/70R15 for 15-inch rims and range from 205/65R16 to 235/65R16 for 16-inch rims. A further five sizes will arrive in the range later this year. This all-season range joins the Evolution Van summer and WM-Van winter products in the Cooper van tyre line-up.
