GFG Style designing Omni’s Radar tyre range

Singapore-based tyre firm Omni United has commenced a partnership with GFG Style, an Italian automotive design house founded in 2015 upon the design experience of Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro. Under the partnership, GFG takes on the remit of designing Omni’s flagship brand, Radar Tyres. Omni anticipates that GFG’s influence will “take Radar’s product offering to the next level” and enhance the brand’s consumer appeal.

Utilising the design expertise of Giugiaro, Omni plans to launch new ranges in 2022 that offer the “optimal balance of functionality and aesthetics.” Specific projects include a series of “design-driven, functional tyre ranges” that are planned into 2024, the first being the Renegade X. Omni intends to introduce this extreme off-road tyre in North America in Q3 2022. Renegade X will cater to the off-road enthusiast and be available in more than 40 sizes for 16- to 30-inch rims. Omni is also working towards the early 2023 introduction of a high-performance tyre for sport, passenger cars and SUVs.

Aesthetic as well functionality
