Autosport International 2022 postponed
The Autosport International Show scheduled for January 2022 has been postponed. According the event’s organisers, the decision was made “in response to the ongoing Covid-19 variants and the Government’s recent directives related to the Omicron variant”. No new date for the 31st edition of the Autosport International Show has yet been confirmed.
Neither have details relating to a replacement Autosport International Connect virtual event been confirmed. Rather, Autosport’s organisers said “we are currently reviewing the options to have it take place in the first half of 2022.”
However, the postponed 31st edition of the Autosport International Show is still set to feature “the same core elements of the planned January 13-16 2022 event which includes the trade-only Autosport Engineering Show, the Performance and Tuning Car Show, Live Action Arena and the Business Forum”.
Over the next few days ticket holders and exhibitors will be contacted with the options to rebook for a new date, roll over the ticket to the new show date, or to receive a refund.
Similarly, companies that have booked an exhibition stand for the postponed 31st edition of the Autosport International Show, will have “an opportunity to book for the rescheduled show”.
Meanwhile, as a result of the postponement, the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual – the Le Mans Virtual Series finale will now take place online from 15-16 January 2022. The virtual race will be hosted from Paris with a live TV broadcast (see www.lemansvirtual.com for details).
