New HQ for Nexen Tire America

The US-based subsidiary of Korean tyre maker Nexen Tire has relocated its headquarters from California to Richfield, Ohio. The tyre maker chose Richfield as the site is already home to its North American technical centre, opened in 2019 and one of three that Nexen Tire operates worldwide.

According to Nexen Tire, the move comes shortly after it identified several key benefits for customers in the USA. After considering all points, it decided that relocating the headquarters to a central location ensures “top priorities for its customers continue to be met.” The new location also allows Nexen Tire America to continue strategizing ways to increase frequency of traveling to customers, enhance operating efficiency and continue to provide ongoing training and support to its network of dealers nationwide.

“Nexen Tire’s Road to growth is running straight through the middle of the country into Richfield, Ohio, and we’re ecstatic to be reuniting with an already incredible and established team at our North American technical centre,” says Brian YoonSeok Han, chief executive officer of Nexen Tire America, Inc. “Our world-renowned technical centre is best known for its unmatched tyre testing and development and is now the official home of the Nexen Tire America team where we will continue to develop top-tier tyres for our customers.”

Nexen Tire will continue to utilise its three US distribution facilities, which are located in California, Georgia and Ohio.
