Continental tyres for John Deere 6M/6R

John Deere has approved further Continental tyres as original equipment for its tractors, with the 6M and 6R available fitted with Continental TractorMaster and VF TractorMaster tyres from 1 November. Both product lines are manufactured at Continental’s plant in Lousado, Portugal.

“With the TractorMaster, John Deere is expanding its tyre portfolio with a test winner in the agricultural tyre segment, which stands for efficiency and cost-effectiveness,” says Jens Mund, key account manager for agricultural tyre original equipment at Continental Commercial Specialty Tires. Mund’s test winner comments refer to the German Agricultural Society’s (DLG) 2019 certification of the TractorMaster following comparative testing with other premium agricultural tyres.

This latest approval expands the OEM relationship that began with Continental’s initial supply of Tractor70 and Tractor85 tyres to John Deere in 2019. “We are delighted that John Deere is expanding its tyre range with further tyres from us. This underscores our growth ambitions in the agricultural sector,” Mund concludes.
