SMP Europe promotes Turner to marketing director
Engine management and ignition specialist SMP Europe has appointed Martin Turner as its new marketing director. He will oversee all commercial and product marketing activities with suppliers, buying groups and distributors, and be involved in research and analysis activities to define and establish SMP Europe’s strategies. Turner was previously internet sales manager at the company.
Turner’s experience lies in graphic design, business development and project management. SMP Europe says he will use his aftermarket expertise and skills to positively impact progression for the company.
Turner comments: “I’m delighted to accept this new position. SMP Europe is a great company to work for and has a great ethos. I’m really looking forward to pushing the brand further. We have some exciting plans ahead so watch this space!”
The business rebranded as SMP Europe last year. It says it has invested heavily in its technical and engineering resources to position itself as an authority on engine management product solutions.
