Michelin extends Menegaux & Chapot’s management mandates
Florent Menegaux and Yves Chapot will remain at the helm at Michelin for a further four years. The Société Auxiliaire de Gestion (SAGES), under the chairmanship of Vincent Montagne and in its capacity as a non-managing general partner of the Compagnie Générale des Établissements Michelin (CGEM), has decided to renew the mandates of Menegaux as a Managing General Partner and of Chapot as a General Manager.
SAGES took this decision with the unanimous agreement of the Michelin Supervisory Board, chaired by Barbara Dalibard, which met on 23 July 2021. The mandates of Florent Menegaux and Yves Chapot will therefore be renewed for four years from their scheduled expiry date at the end of the Ordinary General Meeting scheduled to be held on 13 May 2022. This means their mandates will continue until the conclusion of the Ordinary General Meeting to be held in the first half of 2026.
Commenting on the renewal of both managers’ mandates, Michelin writes: “With this decision, SAGES and Michelin Supervisory Board applaud the quality of the work accomplished by the management team and demonstrate their confidence in Florent Menegaux and Yves Chapot to successfully continue implementing the ‘Michelin in Motion’ strategic plan presented to the financial community and the press in April 2021.”
