Agritechnica organiser expecting 2,000 exhibitors
With just five months to go until the Agritechnica 2022 show begins, organiser DLG (the German Agricultural Society) says it expects around 2,000 exhibitors from 50 countries to be present at the show in Hannover. It adds that its Agritechnica Tracker 2021 survey suggests that visitor interest “continues to grow” as well, with approximately 94 per cent of respondents indicating they will attend next year’s fair and 58 per cent already certain that they will be there.
In addition to hosting exhibitors across 378,000 square metres and 21 halls, Agritechnica 2022 will include digital content as part of the show’s hybrid format. The digital events programme for Agritechnica will commence in mid-November on the DLG-Connect platform, which has been set up to host large-scale events online. The ‘Agritechnica Safe & Easy’ concept will equip visitors with everything they require to plan their travel and ensure a safe visit to next year’s trade fair.
“With its exhibitors from 50 countries representing a long list of market leaders, an international dealer centre, the B2B marketplace ‘Systems & Components’ and the ideas-inspiring start-up area ‘DLG-AgrifutureLab’, Agritechnica will be setting standards in terms of product and topic diversity as an international business platform and network for professional exchange,” says Freya von Czettritz, Agritechnica project manager.
According to the current exhibitor list for Agritechnica 2022, more than a dozen tyre makers have confirmed their presence, including Yokohama Off Highway Tires, Apollo Vredestein, Asian Tire Factory, BKT, Ceat, Continental, Galileo, GRI, Mahansaria Tyres, Maxam Tire, MRL Tyres, Nokian Tyres, Petlas, STARCO, Trelleborg Wheel Systems and Shandong Uniglory Tire.
