Tyrexpo Asia 2021 moves to fully digital platform event
After new updates to Singapore’s Covid-19 response, Tarsus Southeast Asia has opted to move Tyrexpo Asia 2021 to a fully digital event format. The organiser had previously hoped to make the 17-19 November event a hybrid exhibition, with an in-person expo in the hall space running alongside digital elements over its three days. The Singapore Government’s latest updates have confirmed that event engagements will be significantly impaired, and strong travel restrictions remain in place, underlining the difficulties in hosting international events. Tarsus said it is partnering with a leading specialist in hybrid event platform management to present a highly professional virtual online show.
Alwin Seow, project director of the Tyrexpo Team says, “After consideration to ensure a safe and superior quality of our event, the 2021 edition of Tyrexpo will be fully virtual. Our intention now is to focus on quality tier one buyers and sellers to immerse in our fully interactive platform, which will involve approximately 1,000 participants to create a focus on only top-quality meetings.
“Two weeks leading up to the show before the live show days on 17 to 19 November 2021, Exhibitors and buyers will be able to communicate and set ‘live digital meetings/matching making’ before the three-day 24-hour marathon online event.”
Tarsus said that Tyrexpo Asia Digital 2021 will provide “immersive experience and guidance with live engagement and execution facilities.” Features will include recommended buyers/sellers, real time access to live chats/video conferencing, Q&A sessions, self-promotion, post sharing, speaker audience interaction, screen sharing, smart matchmaking techniques with event group segmentation.
Alwin Seow concludes: “I cannot thank enough all our amazing stakeholders who have remained strong and supportive of our decision. Our team is confident that the digital platform event will provide value to the global tyre and wheel aftermarket sectors during these unprecedented times.”
