Vipal Europe now responsible for North Africa & Middle East markets
Vipal Rubber has restructured the commercial coverage area of several key regional subsidiaries, and as a result, its European branch office is now serving important markets in North Africa, such as Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt, as well as main business partners in the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The retreading materials and tyre repair specialist made this change to capitalise on the branch’s closer geographic proximity and similar time zone, which make it easier to carry out technical, after-sales and training visits.
“We are very happy that the company has entrusted us with this mission to keep our partners in these countries closer and closer and, in addition, to work hard to expand the list of clients in these territories,” comments Fabricio Nedeff, Vipal’s commercial manager for Europe. “The proven quality of Vipal’s products and services will help us a lot in this process.”
Nedeff also notes that Vipal’s European office already has a deep knowledge of these markets and sees a potential to grow and expand commercial relationships with new customers in these countries. In addition, these are regions that are accustomed to purchasing their products through Europe due to straightforward trade and tax arrangements. “The change is already being well accepted and we are getting deeper into the information and characteristics of the tyre retreading and repair market in each of these countries. Our intention is to understand even more the specific demands of each one of them and offer the best solutions within our wide portfolio of products, machinery and services.”
Significantly expanded market share
Vipal opened its branch in Europe in 2006, and this office is responsible for significantly expanding the brand’s share in the European, North African and Middle East markets. At the end of 2020, the office was responsible for the first European sale of equipment produced by Vipal Machinery, when Recauchutados Muralla SA (Remusa) of Ávila, Spain, acquired a VOC 760 extruder.
The company anticipates that it will “considerably expand” its brand activities in the aforementioned regions and foster new business there.
