Tyrexpo Asia 2021 goes hybrid
“If the [pandemic] situation continues to improve”, Tyrexpo Asia 2021 will proceed as planned albeit with some digital modifications, the Singapore tyre trade exhibition’s organiser Tarsus Group have reported. Specifically, Tarsus Group reports that it is implementing digital elements “alongside the live event” scheduled to be held 17-19 November 2021.
One result of going hybrid is that the original floorplan for Tyrexpo Asia 2021 has been redesigned, with company representatives reassuring exhibitors that the event’s international sales team will be in touch to explain the relevant changes. In short, the show will proceed with confirmed exhibitors and visitors who are able to safely travel to Singapore. And, for those unable to join in in-person there will be a “digital platform”.
“The main issue revolves around the ever-changing international travel requirements from our conversations with attendees, therefore, improvisions are being implemented in consideration to tyre businesses continuity by providing the show with a ‘hybrid’ element connecting onsite and online, to accommodate all attendees with a travelling/non travelling options”, Alwin Seow, project director of Tyrexpo team commented.
