TyreSafe calls for submissions ahead of refreshed 2021 online awards
TyreSafe has revised the categories and refreshed judging criteria for its 2021 Awards. Two changes stand out. Firstly, there are fewer categories this year, which could mean competition will be more intense. And secondly, TyreSafe will not be holding a face-to-face Award ceremony for the second year running this year. However, winners will have the opportunity to celebrate via a social media activity and video submissions are also eligible this year.
Entrants have the option to include any activities they have organised from 1 September 2020 to 31 August 2021. The judges will be especially keen to see activity taking place during 2020’s Tyre Safety Month.
The categories for 2021 are:
- Safety in the Community
- Innovation & Technology
- Online/Social
- Tyre Retailer
- Manufacturer
Highly Commended and Outstanding Achievement awards will also be presented at the judges’ discretion. The closing date for entries is 24 September 2021 and winners will be announced in the final week of October’s Tyre Safety Month.
Stuart Jackson, Chairman of TyreSafe, said: “Winning a TyreSafe Award is an accolade to be proud of and we’ve made every effort this year to make it as easy as possible to submit a compelling, high quality submission. The work done in promoting tyre safety is invaluable in reducing the risk of an incident on the roads to motorists but is all too frequently overlooked – now is the chance to have that work recognised. We encourage all our supports to enter.”
