Techking opening first international TSC – plans for 10 in 2021
Techking Tires is opening its first Techking Service Center (TSC) outside its home market of China this month. This inaugural international TSC is located in Pakistan, one of the largest markets for Techking truck tyres. Techking considers the launch of the TSC in Pakistan a “key breakthrough and milestone” in its global deployment, and the company intends to follow this by establishing some ten TSCs around the world in 2021.
Preparations for the opening of the TSC saw a task force of Techking R&D engineers, business managers and service staff travel to Pakistan in early June. The tyre maker says the TSC will enhance dealers’ end-to-end service capabilities by offering pre-sales product matching, sales training, and after-sales repairs and maintenance.
“TSC acts as a carrier of professional service systems in our three-lever development model,” comments Raymond Zhang, Techking’s overseas sales centre general manager. “With TSC, our overseas dealers will develop end-to-end tyre solution capabilities and bring better user experience and product values to clients.”
Market leadership in Pakistan
Techking claims its products account for approximately 60 per cent of Pakistan’s heavy-duty truck tyre market. The manufacturer notes that its competitors typically just sell their tyres there and seldom provide qualified pre-sale and after-sales services. It adds that tyre repair in Pakistan also leaves much to be desired, with most tyre shops still using patches and glues to repair tyres. “This kind of primitive way will greatly shorten the tyre life and meanwhile affect the safety of the vehicle and its driver,” Techking states.
