Prometeon expands warehouse, adds to Pirelli IF agri range

Prometeon Tyre Group shares that it recently extended storage capacity at its central warehouse in Germany to accommodate additional stocks of agricultural tyres. The tyre maker says it expanded warehouse operations in order to speed up delivery times throughout the region as well as to offer better its trading partners a higher level of service, however, it that this extra capacity at the Dieburg site, which has been available since 1 July, coincides with growth in its Pirelli IF agricultural tyre range.

Prometeon markets these IF products under the Pirelli PHE name. The new sizes are IF 650/65 R34 PHE:65 and IF 710/75 R42 PHE:75. The industrial sector specialist says it designed the new PHE line to “provide excellent performances to high power tractors (300HP or higher), with a focus on operating costs and environmental impact.” It lists that the range’s key features as:

A robust tread design with thicker lug shape geometry for high load application, providing “better self- cleaning performance with optimal traction”; new tread compounds promoting extra mileage, which is “perfect for long operations even in the harshest conditions”; new sidewall compounds providing “excellent resistance to tears and lacerations and reducing fatigue effects during low-pressure application.”

In regards to performance, Prometeon says Pirelli PHE achieves “a perfect balance” between field and on-road use, with “an outstanding balance” between handling and comfort that maximises driver efficiency and safety.
