Nexen Tire launches N’Fera Racing Team

A ceremony was held at Nexen Tire’s R&D centre in Seoul yesterday to mark the official debut of the N’Fera Racing Team. Several of the South Korean tyre maker’s top executives attended the event, including chief executive officer Travis (Ho-chan) Kang, as well as Hwang Doyun, the team’s first driver.

Nexen named the N’Fera Racing Team after its flagship tyre range. It will compete for the first time in the third round of the Superrace championship, which takes place at the Inje Speedium over the first weekend of September. Hwang will take to the circuit in the Super 6000 class, which races on Saturday 4 September.
