New Earthmax SR 46 is BKT’s largest-ever tyre

Off-highway tyre specialist BKT shares that it has launched a more giant version of its Earthmax SR 46. BKT is introducing this size 33.00 R51 tyre for rigid dump trucks operating in mining and large-scale construction applications in “response to market demand” and reports that this is the largest tyre it has ever produced. The 33.00 R51 tyre stands more than three metres tall and weighs 2,400 kg.

“The addition of a new Giant size is a strategic choice for BKT, since it makes it possible to satisfy the needs dictated by new trends in the sector,” comments the tyre maker.
