Bridgestone recall: UK tyre market not affected

Following last week’s news that Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations is recalling 21,513 Bridgestone Dueler H/L, 422 Ecopia, Dueler H/L Alenza, Ecopia H/L 422 Plus, Turanza EL440, and Firestone Destination tyres, on this side of the Atlantic company representatives have confirmed that the UK tyre market is not affected call back.

In answer to Tyres & Accessories’ questions, a spokesperson explained that the UK tyre market is not affected because the tyres in question are specific tyres manufactured in America and not imported into this country.
