Interpneu: Further step towards unified branding with renamed Polish operation
German tyre wholesaler, retailer and service provider Pneuhage has realigned and renamed its business in Poland. Going forwards the bulk of its activities there, including the 1999-established Pneuhage Service Opon, will operate under the name Interpneu Polska.
According to Pneuhage, the aim of this realignment is to “strengthen wholesale expertise in Poland and highlight (our) European orientation.” The company has taken advantage of marketing synergies and handed responsibility for the Polish operation’s activities to the central marketing team based at the German Interpneu subsidiary in Karlsruhe. One aspect of the Polish business that will continue unaltered, however, is the Pneuhage-branded cooperation with more than 120 garages in Poland and associated fleet service offer.
The change of name has been accompanied by a change of address. In April the Polish operation moved to a logistics park in Koninko, only a couple of miles away the previous company headquarters in Poznan. The Koninko site offers around 4,000 square metres of space, trebling storage capacity and freeing the firm from reliance upon a third-party warehouse.
Existing managing directors Marcin Wawrzyniak and Mariusz Grzelak retain responsibility for Interpneu Polska. “We are delighted with the trust company management (has shown) and investments in the new location. Together with our tried and tested team it offers us the opportunity for further growth, both in supplying workshops as well as in the expansion of support for our partner organisation and fleet customers,” they share.
