Nexen tyres for Porsche Panamera

Porsche will unveil the facelifted 2021 Panamera in August, and Nexen Tire reports its supply of original equipment tyres to this updated second-generation saloon. The new version of the Panamera will wear the Nexen N’Fera Sport in sizes 265/45 R19 105Y XL and 295/40 R19 108Y XL.

“We are very excited to continue our OE supply partnership with quintessential luxury car manufacturer Porsche,” said Travis Kang, Nexen Tire’s chief executive officer and vice chairman. “Nexen Tire has a vision to grow as a global tyre company as manifested by our excellence in design and technology, and care for our customers and local communities we operate in.”

Nexen Tire describes its N’Fera Sport as a “European premium sports tyre that provides excellent drainage performance through 3+1 wide grooves” and features “asymmetric patterns suitable for high-speed driving.” The tyre maker adds that N’Fera Sport ”also demonstrates excellent performance in wet and dry conditions,” with 3D grooves on the shoulders that “greatly improve the stability and handling performance of high-speed driving through optimisation of pattern design.” New compounds aid grip and braking force.

Supply to Porsche is a welcome boost to Nexen’s image as a premium tyre brand, and Nexen Tire says it will leverage the arrangement to carry out a range of marketing campaigns around the world.
