Linglong adds Nova Force Acro UHP tyre to Leao brand range

The Nova Force Acro is the latest generation performance tyre from Leao Tire, a sub-brand of Linglong Tire. Tuned for “ultra-high performance luxury cars,” Linglong says the development of the tyre began with the extensive use of FEA simulation in the early product design stage. Using these methods to analyse and optimise overall tyre stress and strain distribution, Linglong says it improved the durability of the new Leao tyre.

The Leao Nova Force Acro adopts staggered random pitch pattern design and arrangement form to reduce noise and improve vibration absorption performance. The pattern uses a wide straight groove design to enlarge and deepen the pattern’s main groove, increasing water drainage. This means the tyre has improved wet performance, boosting safety characteristics. The tyre meets A-grade wet grip standards on the EU label, Linglong says.

The Nova Force Acro has an asymmetrical pattern design, with an ultra-wide ground contact area and larger pattern saturation to increase the footprint area by 3 per cent compared to the previous product. This ensures the tyre has better grip and handling.

The Nova Force Acro series implements a high-strength belt and carcass material in the structural design, which ensure the stability of the tyre. The range is also equipped with the Linglong LRS system.
