First Stop secures 20 prime retail sites for additional tyre retail franchisees
First Stop has teamed up with a London-based firm of property developers to source and secure 20 prime retail development opportunities in a bid to attract new franchisees to its tyre and autocare network.
The exclusive sites, which are not on the open market, are all positioned in high footfall retail areas – each with planning permission. Some are available to
move into now. Others will become available over the coming weeks and months.
Through the partnership, which is believed to be the first-of-its-kind in the fast fit sector, the 20 locations have been rubber-stamped in high-profile areas, near to the likes of McDonald’s, Costa, Starbucks and prominent petrol stations. Further additional locations are expected to follow in due course.
First Stop UK retail network manager Mark Widdows explained: “This is a huge development for First Stop. These opportunities rarely come along and we already have 20 secured with more to follow. We would like to hear from potential partners who might be interested in the opportunities we’re creating here.
“We’re a progressive network and we’re doing all we can to not only expand to destinations across the country, but to also offer support to our partners in ways not seen elsewhere. Our property locating service is an example of this. It means that we’re taking the stress and strain from a new partner by choosing the best possible location for them, with the greatest potential for footfall and sales.
First Stop is aiming grow to 220 centres nationwide by 2024 and this latest development is seen as a “huge tool” in helping First Stop to reach this target.
