Dunlop tyres for Lexus UX300e, Hankook on Japan-market Honda Vezel
Sumitomo Rubber Industries has begun supplying the Dunlop Enasave EC300+ to Lexus for certain versions of its first all-electric model, the UX300e. Meanwhile, Hankook Tire shares that it will equip the 2021 Honda Vezel hybrid for the Japanese market with its Kinergy Eco² tyre ex works.
The ‘Version C’ model Lexus UX300e is shod with the Dunlop Enasave EC300+ in size 215/60R17 96H, says Sumitomo Rubber.
As for Honda’s Vezel – a B-segment crossover SUV known in Europe and most global markets as the HR-V – it will wear the Kinergy Eco² in size 215/60R16 (95H). “We are excited to be selected as the OE supplier for the new Honda Vezel hybrid, an eco-friendly choice for consumers worldwide,” says Moonhwa Hong, vice-president of Hankook Tire’s OE Development Department. “This further-stretched partnership with Honda is a testament to Honda’s trust in Hankook’s cutting edge technology and commitment to high quality.”
