10% growth for ATS Euromaster’s Mastercare service
ATS Euromaster has enjoyed ten per cent growth in its Mastercare LCV fleet inspection service over the last 12 months. With this growth, the operation is now inspecting more than 2,500 vehicles per month.
The specialist tyre and SMR operation’s Mastercare service is a fleet inspection that takes a proactive approach to keep their customers’ vehicles moving safely and efficiently, maximising uptime and minimising costly unexpected expenditure.
“Mastercare inspections provide fleet managers with a regular snapshot of their fleet’s tyre health on a set basis whether that be monthly or bi-monthly,” comments Gordon Robertson, mobile area operations manager from ATS Euromaster. “Any work that needs to be carried out is proactively highlighted resulting in the opportunity to reduce LCV downtime within fleets.”
Actively building up Mastercare customer base
During the COVID-ridden year, ATS has seen customers demand to keep their fleets on the road more than ever. With business-critical dependencies on essential fleets, fleet managers need to maximise uptime by having the full picture of their fleet’s health, identifying risks and issues well in advance. ATS says it has actively built its Mastercare customer base and has supported fleets to reduce risk and emergency breakdown situations.
“The pre-planned service, undertaken at a time convenient for LCV fleets increases driver hours, involves correcting tyre work, worn, puncture or turn on rims, and where applicable, will indicate misalignment that can be rectified in their centres. As a result, fleets are able to meet their duty of care responsibilities as well as limit vehicle downtime,” comments ATS Euromaster.
Robertson continues: “With Mastercare, fleet managers of light vehicles benefit from a complete real-time view of their fleet’s tyre conditions, access planned or recommended remedial work as well as historical data by fleet, vehicle or wheel and view a list of vehicles yet to be inspected. Our range of preventative inspection services helps reduce risk and breakdown.
“Additionally, Mastercare provides accessible, detailed vehicle inspection reports and all our electronic fleet inspections are viewed by VOSA, provide peace of mind and ensure the tyres comply with C&U regulations.
“Fleet managers have seen the benefits of this service and we expect to see continual growth in Mastercare especially as fleets get back on the road post-lockdown as they look to minimise the additional costs associated with vehicle maintenance.”
